My Ascension Journey
You can read more about my personal ascension journey in my memoir, Breaking Free into Joy. Here’s the very short version:
My soul chose to come into this lifetime and immerse myself in conservative Christian dogma and doctrine for more than 40 years…always searching for More. More love, more freedom, more joy, more satisfaction…and not finding it. When my early conservative programming was challenged with more liberal Christian thinking, my limited human mind and emotional rigidity could not accept it and I left religion altogether.
For the next decade, I lived with no spiritual practice or community until my life became dull and lifeless…days of mindlessly ‘doing’ without any source of hope for change, for new possibilities of joy. At that time, a friend suggested I look to a spiritual channel she knew for wisdom and guidance. I had nothing to lose so I scheduled a personal channeled reading and my journey of ascending into Christ Consciousness began.
Christ Consciousness…a Bigger Picture
I learned about a Bigger Picture in Christ Consciousness and that helped my mind open to my soul’s path. But it was the experiences of More, not just the information, the EXPERIENCES of More that kept me going. More love, more joy, more freedom to be all that I am, more passion for life… More understanding of who I am, why I am here, and how I can become my natural Divine self. How I can let go of thinking I am human and open to the truth that as a soul, I am a spark of the Divine here in human form. I am creator of my moments, creating my reality through my choices.
It is from this realization 25 years ago – this ‘knowing’ that my soul, the Divine within me is my true identity – that I began to explore, experience, and expand into the Joy in Christ Consciousness.
The Spiral Path
When your limited ego mind has been programmed in one set of beliefs and cannot find the answers there any longer, it is beyond challenging to open to More – even though letting go of the old is the only path to new possibilities that can provide hope, love, joy, freedom for individuals and answers to humanity’s most pressing problems.
The 4 Phases of Ascending come from my own spiritual journey…the essence of wisdom and insight received from spiritual, psychological, and scientific resources and experiences throughout my life. They provide simple, flexible and open phases for my ego-mind to understand what is happening and allow me to go within and discover my own individual ascension path into Christ Consciousness.
As I took my steps forward, my soul led me to those perfect experiences that assisted in this process – letting go of old thoughts, behaviors, and patterns and beginning to experience the newness of higher perspectives…over and over again while I released the limiting programming as a human and opened to unlimited possibilities as a soul. My path became a spiral staircase into heaven on earth, or Christ Consciousness.
The 4 Phases of Ascending
Consider each of the four Phases of Ascending as types of experiences you may have on your ascension journey into your Christed self – not necessarily in any linear order. As we move through life, we may have a new awareness or have an emotional release that opens into a different phase.
On my journey, as the various pieces of information and experience started coming together in my awareness, my life gradually opened to a Bigger Picture, expanding my sense of purpose and fulfillment. The beauty of this path is its individuality…the basic elements are present as a guide with the expansion and direction of my path flowing from choices I make along the way. I am creating my own path going ever upward through the phases of my journey into Christ Consciousness.
By releasing fear-based emotions, thoughts and beliefs in one phase, I received insight and higher perspectives based in love. This individual inner work is necessary to let go of the old programming, strengthen your connection with your soul, and allow the presence of Christ Consciousness.
Integration of the new insights brought a new balance in my life from a higher state of consciousness. Love, compassion, joy, peace, harmony, fulfillment and so much more gradually began to flourish within me and I began to change how I saw the world around me. I am creating heaven on earth from within.
