I have always preferred to be by myself, to be able to relax and just be me. However, many aspects of life require that we be in groups – we grow up in groups, we worship in groups, we play in groups and we are educated in groups. As human beings, we have a need for community, for belonging and support.

So I learned how to be in groups – even though it wasn’t always comfortable for me, I often enjoyed myself. When I was first introduced to Christ Consciousness, I was grateful for The Ascended Masters Foundation…the group I learned from, played with, grew spiritually with, and with whom I experienced the presence of the Divine in ever expanding ways.

Today, we have some of the best of both worlds through video conferencing – being with a group from our own home. Discovering Joy Gatherings also brings the best of both worlds…ascending into the Joy of Christ Consciousness is a very personal path, one that each individual discovers and chooses in connection with their soul.

And once you are connected with your soul you begin to realize the Oneness of all creation – not exactly a group, but a way of being an individual as part of a whole in Divine love. You also begin to realize that it is not just about the mind receiving information. There is an energy field that is created in which we come together and create a higher level of awareness from the heart…the presence of Christ Consciousness.

The Energy Field of Discovering Joy Gatherings

Discovering Joy Gatherings are designed as a source of information for your mind even as your soul, your heart, is sourced through the presence of the Divine. From a human perspective, there may be teaching, sharing and discussion, Q&A times, and quiet times for reflection…there will be general gatherings and others that focus on a specific topic. From a soul perspective, you will be supported and encouraged by other souls on their own path as together we create a space filled with the love and joy of Christ Consciousness.

Discovering Joy Gatherings meet on the second Saturday each month from 11 am to noon. There are no membership requirements although I ask that you read the following before you sign up:

We all wake up to the Bigger Picture on different schedules and we all have our individual experiences of the Divine. In Joy Gatherings, we come together with these shared understandings:

  • We have a desire to learn and experience more of the presence of the Divine.
  • We are expanding our awareness of self, our world, the Bigger Picture.
  • There are shared understandings even as we have differing perspectives.
  • We can learn from others as we share our own experiences and wisdom.
  • It is time to let go of judgment of self or others.
  • It is time to shift from thinking we are human to realizing we are Divine souls – to make the leap of faith into Christ Consciousness.
