Meet Eloecea—Psychologist, Teacher, Spiritual Guide, and Author
As I look back on my life, I realize I have been preparing or being prepared for this moment for a very long time: From my beginnings in a very legalistic Christian family and community, to my search for meaning in other Christian theologies, to finally letting go of thinking there was ‘A Truth’ out there – hoping there was something that would pull it all together and I would finally be happy or at least content.
During my search, I studied counseling, clinical psychology, and later Indigenous and Inter-Religious Studies. Along the way I worked as a psychologist and founded a nonprofit mental health agency serving foster children and families in Los Angeles County. Later I served as an Interfaith Counselor in Vancouver, BC.
Along the way I explored my sexuality and gender identity, coming out (to myself!) as a lesbian in my 30’s. Then, with additional language available, I realized I was non-binary in terms of gender…both/and, not female or male. Now I know that these labels really do not matter as long as I am love, giving and receiving love, as I choose to be alone or in relationships that enhance my joy.
In the year 2000, I was guided to explore the wisdom teachings of ascension or enlightenment, using my experience as a psychologist to assist in the release of emotional entanglements that keep us trapped in our old reality. I introduced myself to energy psychology, neuropsychology and (very) basic quantum mechanics and realized science is gradually coming of age in terms of mind/body connection, how our world works and how we change.
This path has provided the freedom and support for me to discover and remember who I Am as a soul, here on earth, having human experiences. My previously limited and oppressive world view has expanded into an unlimited universal perspective of the Big Picture…the More I was longing for.
My life today continues to be one of learning and living the 4 Phases of Transformation into Christ Consciousness. When I am not writing, teaching, or having conversations with those who are questioning or simply curious, you will often find me with a book….preferably a good spy thriller, science fiction, or romance novel. From time to time I engage in an inner duel around house keeping which is so not a fun thing for me to do.
As one who chooses to live in the Light of Christ Consciousness, that Light inspires and infuses my writing, teaching, and listening. Breathing in the flow of the Universe brings magic and miracles into my moments. And, with joy, I watch the Divine plan for the freedom of all humanity unfold, bringing heaven to earth – the Light of Christ Consciousness.
